Memorials/Tributes: For as little as $25, you can have a friend, family member, or pet recognized in MaxFund’s monthly newsletter "PawPrints." Membership: Donate as little as $25 and become a contributing member of MaxFund. You will receive a year’s subscription to our newsletter "PawPrints" and will help us save, house, and medically treat as many animals as we possibly can. Membership link

Wills and Bequests: By including MaxFund in your will or bequest, you can make a valuable and long-lasting gift to our mission of helping injured strays with no known owners, and keeping our shelter viable and strong while meeting your financial and estate planning goals. A bequest to MaxFund can take many forms, and because a bequest qualifies for the estate tax charitable deduction, it may reduce your taxable estate. Wills and Bequests

Draw Your Dog Fundraiser: Paul Atzmiller, a children's book author/illustrator, has come up with a unique way to share his talent and raise money for MaxFund. It works like this:

Send Paul a GOOD photo of your dog (He'll keep the photo for advertising).Paul will draw a FREE, 9x12 black & white, pencil drawing of your dog's head (you'll receive it in about 10 days).Paul will send you the drawing and a MaxFund donation form. You write a check in the amount of your choice and send it to MaxFund with the form. He does not want to know the amount you've donated or even if you've donated - it's all on the Honor System.

Honor A Loved One: Your thoughtful tax-deductible donation of $500 or more gives you the opportunity to be a permanent part of the MaxFund and leave a lasting message in honor of or in memory of a special person or pet. Your donation enables you to:

		Memorialize a lost loved one — person or pet
		Honor someone special in your life — a person or pet
		Give a unique gift for a friend or family member
		Show and promote your company’s contribution to the community

With your $500, you have the option of an engraved plaque that will attach to the cage — honoring your loved one, pet or company permanently. Plaque Donation (pdf)

Become a Pet Pal: Sponsoring a dog or cat at MaxFund is fun and satisfying. A Pet Pal is also a Pen Pal! You and your chosen shelter animal can correspond through email or snail mail (complete with pictures, of course!) You can become a Pet Pal for the tax deductible amount of $15 a month. When your Pet Pal is adopted, you can choose your next new shelter Pet Pal, or MaxFund can choose for you.You must be a registered member (registration is free). Pet Pals

Support a Special Needs Furry Friend: Because MaxFund is a true No-Kill Shelter, we never pre-sort cats and dogs into "adoptable" and "unadoptable" categories. Many of our most precious animals are those who are physically disabled, sight or hearing impaired, diabetic, cats with FIV or FeLV, etc. Your monetary support of a Special Needs Friend can help cover the cost of pet wheel chairs, continued medical treatment, surgeries, and the security of a bright future.
