Hi, I'm Suzie-Q. I'm a beautiful, sweet little girl who is having a heck of a time getting adopted. I arrived at MaxFund in summer 2007. When I first arrived here, I was so terrified the folks at the MaxFund had to put a box and covers in my cage. That way, I could keep myself hidden. It was truly awful fear. Then, someone decided to foster me. She said I was wonderful and really started to come out of my shell. Sadly, she went on vacation for a month, so she brought me back to MaxFund! Now I'm here ONCE AGAIN to find a home.
Just like the last time, I find it scary here. So I bury myself under my blanket. I will come out to be pet and loved. But being able to go under my towel and blanket gives me a tiny sense of control. It makes me feel safe. But don't think I don't want attention and a home! I desperately want both.
According to my foster mom, I don't like to be picked up, but I will come to you the second you sit down. As soon as she sat or laid down, I was in her lap in no time! I like to sleep in the bed at night. I would snuggle up as soon as my foster mom laid down. She said I'm just so sweet that she can't understand why no one has adopted me yet.
She thinks I'd be great for a single older woman or a retired couple. I am great company and I'm not wild at all. I'm very calm and laid back. I haven't tried to tear up any furniture either. I would like a new owner that is GENTLE, quiet and patient. I like soft "feminine" energy. I might do better in a place where there aren't any other cats, though I have lived with other cats. I just need someone to love me and understand me. I am very low maintenance. Truly, I will be no problem for you at all!
I know my foster mom loved me, but now I am back here. I'm scared and desperately want to go back to your house, sit on your lap and snuggle in bed with you! If you are interested in sweet, little ole me, please come see me today.
