Hi, I’m Chloe. I am a sweet and sassy girl with tons of personality. My previous owner left me at the MaxFund door with a note attached, saying that she had lost her job and could not afford to care for me. I was afraid of the other cats at the shelter, so the people at MaxFund put me in my own cage where I could feel safe. That helped, but I was so stressed that I started eating too much, and I’ve gained a lot of weight. Now I am living in a great foster home where I can relax and get plenty of exercise. I’m already starting to get my girlish figure back!
I LOVE people and attention. As you can see from my picture, I like to roll over on my back so you can scratch my head and chin. I’ll give you a nice loud purr in return. In fact, sometimes I will roll over and purr just because I’m so happy to see you. It may look like I want my belly rubbed when I roll over, but I’m not a big fan of that. I don’t mind if you want to brush me, though.
I am also a great conversationalist. When you come home from work or even walk in from the next room, I’ll greet you with a happy meow. I’ll even answer when you call my name. But I don’t have to do all the talking – I love the sound of people’s voices! Want to talk about your rough day at work? Need a captive audience while you sing into your hairbrush? I’m all ears.
For a girl my size, I’m pretty energetic. My favorite thing to play with is one of those toy mice with a furry tail. I’ll chase it all over the room, and then I like to give it a bath when I’m done. (Hey, what’s weird about that?) I also love feather and string toys.
